Thank for that.  I too enjoy insight into rules design and hence why sometimes I get carried away and write long winded posts that a possibly a few other like-minded will read. And a blog post with a bit of detail with a full replay is coming in the next few days.  Hopefully.

Note: There is a 2 pager ww2 rules on my blog that has been playtested by a few people around the world.  I plan to post a link in this forum with a bit of background when I find time.
