I haven't play tested them but I have some basic feed back.
First, very important! Change this paragraph to reflect that these are an off-shoot of panzer8's rules created by you and the proper date.
These ultra-simple rules are intended for a very quick game or a campaign between fighters,
fighter bombers and dive bombers squadrons.

http://panzer8.weebly.comAs for the rules, where are your example star ships? They seem to be missing from the "Sample Data" section.
I recommend taking a second look at anything to do with "altitude" while fighters are in space. I like the idea of a "galactic plane", but it gets confusing when "ground attacking space-born objects".
Star Frontiers actually did away with altitude and used a 2D hex map to abstract movement. It worked quite well.
